I am so grateful to be able to be present for these days. It’s a constant reminder of just how important this war on drugs we are in is when I get messages like this. My dear friend always reminds us that desperation is a GIFT. To be able to love and be loved by this woman who continually suits up and shows up is more than I deserve. Her passion and willingness to fulfill not just her obligation but to raise the bar for what the 1st tradition in Oxford means is unmatched. She is a living example of what recovery and sober living embody. You are my hero every day, but today I most definitely salute you!
